Maryland Crab Soup
The Maryland Crab Soup comes packed with corn, Lima beans, green beans, tomato, carrots, onion, potato, peas, and of course, crab. Crab is in shreds and has been cooking in the soup, although there really isn't much by the way of crab. We did get a shell piece in our bowl, so we know it's homemade and made from hand-picked crab. Served with a shaker of Old Bay to spice up the soup on your own.
Overall, the spicing of the soup is nice without being too salty. There is a good ratio of ingredients to broth, the majority being vegetables. Some of the vegetables were pretty dry, namely the potatos and lima beans. While the spciing of the soup was really good, one or two shakes of crab seasoning really opens up the soup. Crackers go pretty nicely as well. There may not be a whole lot of crab, but there is a very nice crab flavor. Figure out how to get the potatoes and lima beans to be a bit fresher, and we've got a potential winner here!
