Cream of Crab Soup
The Cream of Crab soup comes in your choice of a cup or bowl, and you can substitute an entree side for a cup for a small up charge. At the time of this review, there were no other crab-inspired soups on the menu, but that does not mean that a Maryland crab soup won't show up as the soup of the day. Soup is served with crackers, and sprinkled with Old Bay.
The broth has a good crab smell, with a good amount of jumbo lumps of crab. The crab by itself was tasty, but not overly sweet. While this may be attributed to the Old Bay, the soup comes off as slightly salty, but still throughly enjoyable. The chives in the soup give it sort of a mushroom flavor. Aside from that, no other ingredients were detected aside from cream and crab. The soup flavor is consistent throughout, with there being crab in almost every spoonful. While there could be a bit more diversity to the flavor, the soup is still throughly enjoyable.
